John Wittstock joined CRH in 1990 with the acquisition of HGP Industries. Prior to joining HGP, he worked
in the brewing and food industries. He became Chief Executive Officer of Oldcastle Products & Distribution
in January 2000 and joined the CRH Board in January 2002. He was appointed to Managing Director Europe
Products and Distribution in October 2004, responsible for managing and developing the Group's products and distribution businesses throughout Europe. Currently, John is President/CEO of the newest Oldcastle Product
Group: Oldcastle Construction Accessories. John is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BBA and an MBA.
